Slow - Fast Forward Rewind on 25G backup

I was having problems ( as I have seen others ) when I moved to the NEXT chapter or tried to speed up the movie playing of compressed 25G backups --- ( takes several seconds to change chapters -- forward takes 15 sec to start if at all )

After several tries with no success -- encoing -- using ImgBurn Options -- I finally am getting good results by using another PC -- with a different Brand of BD - writer

While the difference still may be software somehow -- it does look like the BD-writer may make a difference --

I am going to move the writers back and forth between machines and see if the problems follow before I finallize this theory ----

I have tried to keep the software the same -- Win 7 - 64 bit -- but of course lots of the Windows Drivers are different -- Laptop vs Desktop hardware -- so I may be on a bad path

Isn't the BD writer -- moved the writer over and all is good --

Must have something in ImgBurn different --- still looking

      Hi cwcarson
This kinda sounds like a burn speed problem, maybe burned to fast or even media related.
Post your most recent logs for this movie.

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.

Used a Verbatim BD-RE - Problem also shows up with BD-R

This from the PC that Burns a BD that has trouble with Playback - Fast Foward - Skip Chapters --

Normal playback seems OK -- just when I skip a Chap it takes 15 sec or so to perform and start playing

This Burn is from a Compressed version -- and when I do this burn on my other machine the Playback is PERFECT ??? !!!

( I moved the Burner to the other machine and the problem stayed with the PC -- ( did not move with Burner ))

        Thanks for looking

Again these logs are from the machine which is Burning a problem BD --

          ---------------------------

Well -- now both PC's are procducing the same BD - ( one that has problems with Skip Chap -- etc )

I was going to collect the logs from a good burn -- and the lastest has the problem ----------

This is strange -- I have Burned the same movie on this machine before and did not have any problems -- going to put these logs out here also ----

I did use the SAME BD-RE media disk -- for both bad Burns --- That would explain this -- if the problem Burns are on questionable BD-RE Disk

            Hi cwcarson
Your logs show that you are not using the original disc, please try again using the original.

              Orginal Disk ?

              Orginal Disk ? -- I have RIPed the orginal to a m2ts file ( 50GB)

              Then I compressed this to a 25G file m2ts

Now I am Burning a BD-RE from the 25G compressed file ( the burn of this file works fine on one PC -- has consistent problems when burned on another )

I am confused -- how would I use the orginal ?

or what are you seeing that makes you ask that ? -- I am messing up somewhere -- what do you see ?

              Thanks in advance

                Hi cwcarson
This is the Blu-Ray Copy sub forum is it not....
                Blu-ray Copy
Copies full content or the longest title of a Blu-ray, clone Blu-ray in 1:1 ratio, burns Blu-ray folder and image file to disc, or converts Blu-ray folder to image file, all with no Blu-ray protection limit.

EDIT Or maybe I am missing something.

Is there a Forum for my DVDFAB Blu-Ray copy question ?
