    Slow down ImgBurn ?

    Trying to slow the burn speed for ImgBurn -- Set the AWS to 1x but it looks like the speed is increased to the Max for my Media ?


    I 20:50:10 BURN-Proof: Enabled
    W 20:50:12 Write Speed Miscompare! - Wanted: 4,496 KB/s (1x), Got: 17,980 KB/s (4x)
    I 20:50:12 Advanced Settings - Force HT: No, Online HT: No, OverSpeed: No, SmartBurn: Yes
    I 20:50:41 Filling Buffer... (40 MB)

    How to I force it slower ?

    How to I force it slower ?
    In DVDFab settings under the write tab set the speed recommended. Your burn will be ay the requested speed!
    For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
    or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
    Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal and Burn log(s)and post right here.

      Might be that the burner only supports 4x as the slowest speed with that media. You should see if that is true in the full log of ImgBurn.

      Changing the setting in DVDFab will not help in such a case.
