Ok I have been at this for weeks I got a 27 gib movies i need compressed to fit on 25gib disk i have try disabling all and with all on every option every version up to todays newist one did full disk rip to hdd uncompressed then tryed to compress just the movie and then the full disk after 15 hrs of it saying 0.1 mibs total time left 00:00:00 I finally cancel it, I have wrote the tec support everyday they just say oh try the new beta oh try this i have tryed everything and more what is wrong here sry little upset with the runaround with the company

It's really all just guesswork without specifics.
Please post your logs.
We just need one or two of your most recent attempts...not the entire log file.

The default locations are:

Bummer!
As you said, nothing jumps out in your internal log except the compression simply stalls and fails to proceed.

It sounds like you've tried just about everything including adjusting your A/V Codec settings.

I just did Adjustment Bureau BD with both 8073 and 8117 Beta in an attempt to reproduce the problem.
Both versions did fine with compressing main movie, BD50 to BD25.
(I never burn BD's since I playback on a media player, so normally, I don't take much notice of the resultant file size)

From my internal log:

You might want to try an attempt with 8073 (released Jan 29, 2011).
IMO, 8073 is one of the more stable, pre-QT, "recent" versions and you won't need any of the decrypting function going from hdd files.

If no dice, I'd do a complete uninstall of Fab, then run CCleaner and be certain to include Old Prefetch data in the clean.
I'd also let CCleaner clean up your registry.

Now do a fresh download of Fab and a clean install. Make sure you "Run as administrator".

Keep your product key tucked safely away, but you can always download it from the member site.
In the event you need to grab it again, at least you won't have to hassle with email.

if i d/l a older copy will my key work for it as well becuse in the trail it makes a watermark

As long as your license is current, any Blu-ray Copy version, including older versions should work without issues.
And yes, this means no watermarks...lol.

License issues occur when folks use versions which post-date their license expiration

8.5 hours is an awfully long time for compression from a BD50 ---> BD25, but like you said, at least it works...sort of...

Previously, were you realizing better times than this?
What are your system specs?

Are these times reproduced with most/all BD titles?

You did say that your common practice is to compress only from uncompressed hdd files and never from the original disc right?

Yes I allways rip to hdd first then i play it on the hdd to make sure it looks ok then i conpress it from 50 to 25 on hdd then i take the compressed movie and burn it. My computer specs are low and that was the first movie i compressed i allways look if full disk will fit on a 25 gib if not i just burn main movie only computer is

I wouldn't be too hard on your gpu. Yup, it's weak, but your cpu is definitely where the rubber hits the road as far as BD processing.

I'm running a EVGA 896-P3-1257-AR GeForce GTX 260 Core 216 Superclocked gpu in my 2 year-old build.
With CUDA, I see rip times BD disc ---> uncompressed ---> BD50 of about 30-35 minutes.
Without CUDA roughly 40-45 minutes.
Compression to a BD25 or BD9 is certainly well under an hour.

Does CUDA help out?
Sure it does, but what gets it done for me is my Core i7-920 Bloomfield 2.66GHz Quad-Core

User mileage can vary quite a bit when it comes to CUDA and I don't mean to disparage CUDA acceleration,
but your money is best spent on a fast, utd cpu before upgrading your gpu
