    Hi RonnieC312
The error you are receiving is 122 HWS_FAILED_CALIBRATING 22 // Write failed at the beginning of the media (often a media that is poorly supported by the drive)
    Post your burn log.
According to your other posts the media you are using is garbage. Sorry

Did you bother to read this post on your other thread?

Bottom line... use garbage media and you get garbage results.

Ronnie i use Verbatim's BD-R 25 GB 4X speed media.... Never no problem with this media. You might pay a couple dollars more but its deff worth it. And also i wouldn't fool with the settings on IMG Burn. I never messed with mine and have not had any problems.

the people in charge on this site are always so nice LOL I have pretty good disk and some crappy ones. I didnt want to keep using my good media if it wasnt working.

It wasnt even burning on my nice Maxell BD-RE DL disk as well.

So what is the error. I'm about to go buy a new burner. I'm ok with doing that.

Question is why would u compress the movie and then try and put in on a Verbatim DL disk. Waste of money i would think.. Around here a DL disk runs at $16 a disk. If you use a 25 GB disk only comes out to around $4 a disk. And another suggestion that was given to me awhile back would be to buy a Verbatim 25GB BD-RE 2X disk. This is a rewritable that can be used over and over. Its good to use especially if u have problems burning. You don't waste alot of money if u can use over and over

Why are you still using the VSO engine? Also the lens wear out in the burner, I replaced mine a while back and have never had a bad burn!

                    Hi RonnieC312
As suggested many times before please use ImgBurn as your burn engine, it is "free".
You will find it in the link in my signature and should take a couple of minutes to set up.
Remember to set up the AWS in ImgBurn to 1/2 the rated speed of your media.
Just take your time setting it up and you will have much better results.

Thanks for all the help... I bought a new burner last night and everything is working just fine.

Backed up a few movies last night so I'm happy again. But its amazing how fast that burner crapped out haha

so I shouldnt use VSO engine? Should i use ImgBurn every time?

Yes that is what they recommend.. And beleive it or not they do know what they are talking about....... I have always used IMG Burn and have had no problems.. Another thing to is i have 2 drives.. I have a Blu Ray ROM to read and then the Blu Ray Burner to do the burning. The ROM is actually not that much money.

Just make sure you do all compression on the HDD this will save your burner in the long run.
