'Convert to Blu-ray SBS 3D' option

    Hi

I've never had any issues with backing up 3D Blu-rays disks since the release of this functionality. But in update 8.1.3.2 when I insert a 3D Blu-ray I have 3 new options, 2 of which only apply to hard-drive file backups 1) convert to 2D 2) convert to SBS 3D.

I though, lets see what happens to made 2 copies, one for each option.

I open up the 2d files in the 2d Blu-ray ripper, they open fine.
I open up the 3d files in the 3d Blu-ray ripper and they open up the 2d Blu-ray ripper tab! Looking in the video options preview doesn't show the image as SBS, it just looks normal.

    Thoughts anyone?

This is the case for both 3D blu-rays that I've tried 'A Christmas Carol' and 'Alice in Wonderland'.

Is this a bug? Am I doing something silly?

when going to 3D sbs, you have to select BD25 option. It will not work set to BD50. Its a known bug.

      Dear rdorian

It's not the SBS 3D format when outputing bd50 with selecting "Convert to SBS 3D".
It's the SBS 3D format when compressing to bd25.

We are working on this issue.

      Best regards,

      Knighter

So guess that it's back to 8.0.8.5 again.

        Thanks for the feedback.

Just a thought... why can't I just to a full copy to hard disk as before and use 3D Blu-ray ripper.

When the issue is fixed, what's the equivalent?

Full copy to SBS 3D on hard-disk then what, normal Blu-ray ripper since it's been converted?
