Anyone tried backing up their Bluray of Rise of the Planet of the Apes? Any issues?

Anyone tried backing up their Bluray of Rise of the Planet of the Apes? Any issues?

I have tried myself several times to do the complete disc. DVDFab 8138 states copy complete, however when I test the disc on PowerDVD v11 or WinDVD, all I get a STUCK BLACK SCREEN. I have tried to burn it out 3 times, but I getting tired of making coasters!!!

I have tried copying with CUDA on & off.
I have tried copying with Lightning on & off.
I have tried copy with straight SOFTWARE mode.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes is not the only movie this has happened with. There are others - some older and some new. Unfortunately, I am at work now and don't have access to my log files to show. There is definately something wrong with DVDFab Blu-Ray Copy. The DVD Copy still works fine.

I did full disk on a 50gb and movie only on a 25gb and played it on my standalone and had no issues at all. I used 8136QT. Its not FAB. I have XP sp3. I just do a 1 to 1 copy, no iso or anything else like that. Movie only was 23.2gb with just HD audio and english subs.

Open Fab click the Click the Green √ at top right corner of the DVDFab screen, and open Common Settings > General >A/V Codec, put a check in Disable all GPU codes and make sure they are set to Software, restart Fab and try again.

Please do not compress from your drive
First save it to your HDD as BD50 without compression.
Then open the hard drive folder and use "Movie Only" mode select BD25 to compress to another folder on your hard drive.
Use the "Write Data" mode of Fab to open this COMPRESSED folder and burn to a disk.
Doing it this way saves wear and tear on your optical drive and is also faster.

Then burned it with IMG Burn. Took total of 2 and a half hours. About right for that. Full movie was around 32 GB and compressed down to around 22 GB.

Well I need to know what I am doing wrong! I backed up Rise of the Planet of the Apes starting at 9:34 AM. The whole process wasn't completed until 10:35 PM and I just did the main movie. Used all of the default settings and burned with IMGBurn.

Hi, my problem is that the two blu-ray movies I'd copied, play and look blurry. The movies are Transformers dark of the moon, and Cowboys and Aliens. I manage to copy them both, but I had to compress them in order for them to fit in a BD-R 25GB disc. Cowboys and Aliens is over 38GB, and Transformers dark of the moon is around 47GB. When I copied them both, and burned them onto a BD-R 25GB disc, and them play them in my blu-ray player, they look real blurry. The copy mode was full movie. Why do they look so blurry?
I copied Avatar blu-ray version before, and that movie plays and looks real good. Avatar is 40 something GB. So why do these other movies look so blurry?
Another problem I have is that the copy of Rise of the planet of the Apes, blue-ray USA version, won't play in my blu-ray player. It's the same problem I had before with Transformers dark of the moon. I can copy the movie just fine, but it won't play in my blu-ray player. The copy mode is full movie. My DVDFab version is, 8.1.3.6 . I first copy the full movie to my hdd, then I compressed and copied the movie to a BD-R 25GB disc, and then I put the movie in my blu-ray player and try to play it. The BD player says its reading the disc, and then I get a message that says Dialog B, TBD, TBD,TBD and I get the option to press ok. I press ok, and the the movie seem like its gonna play, but all I get is a dark screen, the movie won't play. It seems to me like is probably a new copy protection on the disc. Like I said, I had the same problem with transformers dark of the moon, but transformers now plays fine, minus the issue with looking blurry. When I was having the issue with transformers, I downloaded your new version of DVDFab, and then I copy the movie to my hdd, and then I copied the movie to a BD-R 25GB disc, then I try playing the movie, and it finely started playing.
Do you guys have a solution to my problems? Again, my first problem is that my version of transformers dark of the moon, and cowboys and aliens blu-ray USA versions, look real blurry when I play them in my blu-ray player.
My other problem is that I can't play my backup copy of rise of planet of the apes.
Any help will be greatly appreciate it. I think I know what you will say, try copying the movies in main movie mode, and see if they still look blurry, I did, cowboys and aliens looks good without compression. But I want to be able to copy the whole movie with all the special features. That's the whole point of watching a blue-ray movie. I want to be able to see the special features. Why was I able to compress Avatar before with very little loss in quality, and now I can't get the same level of quality from these two other movies I mentioned? Help, please.

I did as you sujested, I checked the disable all GPU codes. I first copied the movie in main movie mode uncompress to my hdd, then I compressed the movie to another folder on my hdd. Then I used Img burn to burn to a BD 25 disc. I used the write to disc option, the movie finely played on my BD player. So I tried the same process to copy the full movie, but this time the movie wouldn't play in my BD player. I don't know if it's a new copy protection scheme they're employing. As I said, the movie seems to play fine when you copy it in main movie mode, but when you copy the full movie, it doesn't play. All I get is a black screen. The movies seems to copy just fine, but when I put it in my BD player, it starts as if it's gonna play, but the it gets stuck in the dark screen. My BD player has the latest firmware, so it can't be that, besides, I put the original in the player, and it plays just fine with no issues. Any ideas? Here is my log file.

DVDFab automatically selects title 600, but there are also titles 800, 801, 850, and 851, all of which are trhe same time length and 1080p.

Do we know what all of these are?
