8.1.5.3 - Does "Full Disc" really do this now?!?

I just popped in one of my 3D movies with the 8.1.5.3 version and chose FULL COPY. I changed the disc mode to 25GB, and I was expecting the 3D option to blank out and for the 2D and SBS to be the only options...
The 3D option was available!
Does this mode really work now? Do we not have to do SBS?
Please tell me its true!

It was too good to be true.
I tried it and it created a 35GB file from a 44GB disc.
Seems like it took the HD audio off.

Went back and tried it again, and the 3D was not an option for me again when going to an .iso.

Strange stuff... I think I got excited for nothing.
