I had what I thought was all versions of DVDFab disk copy software, Which I purchased a "lifetime" edition of, a few years ago. Apparently the BluRay options were only trial versions. so I purchased a lifetime BluRay Copy, because it seemed to have what I wanted. The website indicates in detail, that it can do several versions of BluRay to DVD copies. After installing the second license key, I check my status, and it shows the DVD and BluRay copiers as licensed to me, but all other softwares, are still listed as trial versions. I want to copy a BluRay to a DVD but when I choose the BluRay copy section, I only get two options BD50 & BD25, no DVD? If I use the BluRay to DVD section I see the options that I want, but the software tells me that I'm using a trial version. I don't know what I could be doing wrong? I have the impression that the website is deceptive and that to get this "Copy to DVD" functioin, I'm required to pay additionally for the feature? If you read the website it certainly promises that BluRay to DVD is possible using the more expensive BluRay Copy package?

BluRay Copy & BluRay to DVD

I can actually explain this...
The DVDFab Blu-ray Copy that you purchased is for making an AVCHD DVD from a Blu-ray movie. These discs can ONLY be played on a Blu-ray player, NOT a DVD player.
The DVDFab Blu-ray to DVD Converter is for making a copy of a Blu-ray to a DVD-Video disc that CAN be played on a DVD player.
This initially confused me, too until I researched it online.

That is actually what I was trying to do. I don't want a DVD. I want to write the re-encoded HD to a DVD9. I now believe that I have the correct software and license.
As I understand it, the intended method is to use Blu Ray Copy to create a BD9 which it will then write to a DVD9?
When I try to do that, using a 1 hour and 47 minute HD source, the program runs to completion. It takes about an hour and 20 minutes and indicates that it ran successfully, but the resulting play back has the video, freezing and unfreezing, about every 10 seconds. Further, if I use the option to convert the high end audio to AC-3, the result is the same video freezing, coupled with a continuous audio beeping sound and virtually no more than brief flashes of the original audio track. (Thank you)

XP 32, SP3, Core2 Quad 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM
In this case I left the audio alone the result, sounds normal, but the pictue freezes. As I mentioned above when I try and cutback on the audio, it turns into a series of high pitched noises and the picture isn't improved.

Hi dadrian
The reason you may be having problems with this movie is it has Cinavia on it.
The audio can not be changed in any way shape or form.
You may have to burn this movie on a BD-R disc.
Also depending on your playback device you may be limited if your Blu-Ray player is infected with Cinavia because your drive does not support Binding Nonce generation so you will not be able to make a protected disc.
If I am wrong about this someone please correct me.
