[posted in wrong place - sorry]
All,
Can someone please help me out here.
I registered an issue some time back regarding BluRay ripping and DVD ripping. Moving to the QT version I have had real issues ripping MP4s.
To get round it, i have ripped into M4V and that seems to have worked.
This is the IPAD 1080P format.
Now, I have just bought the 3D rip and I have got the same issue.
I have two machines and the problem exists on both (using the free 30 days).
One is an i5, 8gb, QuickSync, GTX 540m
One is a i7 350, 8gb, GT260 1.8gb
Both have CUDA nVidia cards and can handle bluray / 3d with no issues.
The continuing problem is that the MP4 ripping just doesnt work.
I have done a lot of investigation and thought it might be sound card delays, software / CUDA issues, quick sync issues. I can't find anything common at all.
What is the difference in the iPAD 1080p vs the iphone codec used? One pumps out in M4V (which works) the other pumps out in MP4 which does.
Its is absolutely doing my head in.
