    Blu-Ray Clone Pixelation Glitch (s)

    Hey everyone!

I have a iHBS112 2 LiteOn drive with the latest 'CLOK' firmware and Verbatim BD-R DL 50GB media.

The ISO's play great! Getting pixelations / glitches in back-ups that I clone to HD and then write the ISO to disc with DVDfab 8.1.6.3

Some back-ups are turning out fine! They play fine on pc and on stand alones.

    some...most... glitch :P

But those copies that do have glitches don't pixelate the same twice nor the same amount between all players.. ugh D:

Im burning my 4th attempt at ICE AGE 3 as I type this. With vso at 2x and the lighting and gpu codec things disabled (read it in another post)

The last copy (#3) I burned with ImgBurn and verified, no errors..... it played fine on TMT3... but pixelated on PowerDVD12 and was just an inactive black screen on my stand alone LG BD620C that Ive borrowed.

Holy moly! Someone save me here :P I'm burning coasters with discs you could be using! lol

Can I update my firmware to 'PLO3'? firmwarehq shows that the latest 'CLOK" update was released a year ago

4th attempt still not recognized by stand alone player

I'm starting to think that Ive screwed myself over making 'clones' instead of main movies only?

Yes, you can update your firmware.
NOTE: If you do not know how to flash your drive do not do it, it will render your drive useless.

        Forgot to mention something..

Every backup that my stand alone player is able to recognize.... plays them without any glitching... even if they glitch like crazy on my pc...

Ive looked everywhere, I couldn find any info that could help me : /

Any help would be appreciated D:

Is this perhaps maybe because of my drive?/Firmware?/The Cloning Function?

            Hi sandman.dreams
Please update to the latest version found here

I would also suggest picking up a few BD-RE disc's to reduce the chance of making coasters.

Are these also the Verbatim LTH disc's.
If so I suggest changing to the non LTH disc's.

Have you tried ripping to folder and then burning to disc instead of an ISO.

Logs look normal, verifying is not necessary, and it's to bad you only have 4X speed to burn.

Righto sir! I have ordered some RE's, can't believe I did not think of that lol

The media I have now is not LTH I guess, doesnt say it is on the ebay page and it's not written on the disk

Will try burning more copies in various ways with the newest version once i get my RE's,

I have already made about a hundred 'clone' iso's stored on my hdd, and they all play perfect!

Anyways why did you say that it sucks that i only have 4x to burn?

                Hi sandman.dreams
The reason that I said that is that you are burning at Max speed, I suspect that it is a burning issue, and lowering your speed may help.

                Pulled from your logs:
I 19:41:05 Destination Media Supported Write Speeds: 4x
                I 19:41:05 Write Speed: MAX
