What does it say in parentheses after 437. 437(1) or 437(2)

      and you used 8.1.6.5 beta?

I will give it a shot later

Dirtybirdz, I didn't pay attention to see if it was #ed or not, I just went with what dvdfab picked, They are right nearly 90% of the time! and yes I used v8.1.6.5 QT Beta!

My observations trying to backup the Region 1 Blu-ray 2D version:

The active, possible titles with the 1:50:32 playing time are: 437(1),437(2),468(1),468(2),631(1),631(2),688(1),6 88(2),703(1),703(2),731, and 851(1),851(2). These all have various degrees of compression (99% to 94%) to fit on a BD25. None are at a 20GB size. I have no clue which one to choose.

The possible titles with a 2:21:12 play time are at the 20GB size and both DVDFab 8.1.6.3 (current stable version) and 8.1.6.7 (latest Beta) select the first active 2:21:12 title as the one to use for backup. I don't have access to the 8.1.6.5 Beta.

If you do make a backup of the titleset DVDFab selects (playing time 2:21:12), it fits on a 25 GB blank, and looks like it plays just fine if you skip through the chapters. However, if you take a little closer look, after after watching the movie on the original, you'll see there are missing scenes, redundant scenes, scenes out of order, etc.

Lots of luck backing up this movie!

according to 88, the correct title set is 437, and you have to use 8.1.6.5, i have yet to try it, im hoping to do it this weekend.

              anyone else try?

Did you guys update the catalog? I popped in three musketeers, and dvdfab chose title set 731, and it seems to be working, will update after its done.

When i did it a couple days ago, it chose 437.

                I am using 8.1.6.7

On the box, it says "Total Run Time: 110 Mins."! That's 1h 50min, so there's no reason to pick anything that is not very close to 1h 50min...

DVDFab 8.1.6.6 and 8.1.6.7 have fake playlist filtering, so I would advise not to chose playlists that are in gray.
The server has been updated with the correct playlists to use; they'll be automatically selected in DVDFab and displayed in Info window in DVDFab Passkey. For The Three Musketeers (Region A, USA) that is 731, for The Three Musketeers 3D (Region A, USA) that is 691.

Now, all playlists with 1:50:32 runtime are correct if you use first angle (I used angle0 and angle1 in a previous post, but DVDFab interface uses (1) and (2) ), because they have the same order of the clips. Eg. 437(1) is good, 437(2) is bad to use for backup.

Yes - thanks j&b. I knew the playlist 8.6.1.3 selected was probably wrong due to the incorrect play time, however, I went ahead out of curiosity just to see what would result. I'm only out $2 USD for the blank disc. I was going to try 731 next, since it was the only playlist with the correct play time and no angles, but waited to see what you experts came up with. I'm kinda old with obsolete computer skills - my programming heydays were back in the 1960's with Gracie Hopper - and rely on this forum when things don't work right.
