Have tried three times on "The Descendants" and get the same BD+ message everyone is getting.

region 1 (USA) also error 303

Have a lifetime registered version of Blu Ray Copy and a always on cable connection to the internet, Email always works and web browsers always work.
Re-installed 8175 and Descendants still won't work.

BD+ removal requires a live internet connection and the registered version of DVDFab. If you have these things it should work. Wish I had the disc to test. Sorry you are having trouble with this one, I will pass it up the food chain.

I have the same problem. I will try reinstalling 8.1.7.5 and see what happens.
From what I can tell in these messages this is a continuing problem. Hopefully it will be resolved in the near future.

Same for me 8.1.7.5 and still get the message about BD+ protection not supported. Tried "Main Movie" and "Full Disc".

Same here. Just updated to 8.1.7.5 and it says this disc has BD+ protection that DVDFab can't handle. Region 1 (USA).

Please state the Region and/or country of your disc when one will not open and produces the 303 error.

Smae Here. The DVDFab website claims BD+ protection can be removed form version 7.x. Did it ever work or has it just get broken?
