    Trouble with War Horse

Hello, anybody have any trouble with War Horse. I can rip it to my hard drive but when DvdFab tires to reduce it I get an error.

Made sure everything was set right and still no go. Even tried some earlier versions of DvdFab.

            Hi blas87
Have you tried using main movie only to see if you still get the errors?

No problem here with Region A Blu-ray, Main Movie, DTS soundtrack only, English subs only, using 8.1.7.3. I ripped to hard drive as ISO image (I believe it was 31GBs). Then I wrote to a Digistore 50GB Blu-ray blank using Imgburn at 2x speed. Finally, I watched the complete movie (for first time) to verify everything worked.
Now that someone in this forum turned me on to reliable Digistore 50GB blanks at about $2USD, I'm done compressing Blu-ray backups. Digistore also makes the two portable (USB) Blu-ray writers I use.

I am currently ripping War Horse right now and it seems to be going smoothly. I will watch it tonight and let you know how it burned and played. Hey Grampaw, where did you get Digistore 50GB blanks for US$2 - best price I could find was US$4?

Oops - you're right it is US$4 at Amazon.com. My error - it's still worth it to me with the time and hassle involved in compressing...
