Back to back "Read Errors"

In the process of backing up a series of discs I own, I ran into back-to-back problems backing up two films (Inglourious Basterds and Hurt Locker) directly to my C: drive.

For both, the process stopped and a "Read Error" message came up.

I have upgraded to 8.1.7.6
I have had almost no trouble thus far backing up my collection.
This is an internal drive
I have made no recent changes to my OS or system hardware.
I have installed no other DVD or BD software recently

Could this simply be an issue with the two discs back to back?

Am I the only person with this problem?

Any suggestions for why this is taking place?

Obviously... Otherwise there would be more posts.

This problemis usually caused by dirty disks, damaged disks or a bad pressing.

Give the disks a good clean and polish and try again.

FYI: Playing and ripping are like apples and oranges.
