I have tried only two movies(blu-ray to blu-ray) so far GI Joe and Wolverine and both seem to give me the wrong language, they both have french set as a default and if i remove it then it is replaced with a English directors cometary, I have tried both main movie and full with no luck. any suggestions would be great.

Only way I could ever get WMP to play back BR is to install codecs and WMC on my system has TMT3 as a plugin but I never go that route, I just use TMT3 as a stand alone. Most problems occur trying to play back the m2ts file directly and it needs the folder structure to play back correctly.
Maybe someone with more experience with both players you are using can offer suggestions.

I merged your post from Please if your problems have not been solved do not hijack someone else's thread or cross post.
For your problem instead of clicking on the m2ts file for playback open PowerDVD and click the folder icon, then select 'open media folder' selecting the main folder that contains the BDMV and Certificate folders. BD rips require the folder structure to playback correctly.

blu-ray language problems repost
I have been using fab for years now I use it to back up my dvds and watch them through media center, I now have a LG CH08LS10 and have been trying to back up Blu-Rays for the same purpose, it's awesome to beable to have 400-500 movies a click. I have tried full disc and every time it ripps to french, in main movie if I have the main english checked only then no sound, and the second english i get the directors commintary, this has happend on 5 movies now. I am running windows 7 and have played them in media center, media player and powerdvd, all the same result. if anyone has a solution it would be great. thanks

Hi mikecough,
What is your intention, to stream or to burn to a disc ? it is not uncommon for you to experience this issue.
when I do play backs using WMP ( I also have Win7) then I can get audio in French, Spanish, and some times in a language I don't even know, but when I back it up to a disc it all plays back in English.
You might however, to be on the safe side, check common setting's
Streams >>> Audio / and make sure that English is in the preselected Languages.
