I did a "Movie Only" backup of my original. So far only tested on computer and seems to be find. Will test it on Panasonic player tonight.
When it was copying, about every 2 minutes a new source came up like "000456.m??" something. The first number kept increasing. Did you see this and what does it mean?

Some movies just do that. They have multiple m2ts files. This particular movie should start with 00455 & end with 00477. At least that's what it did for me. It doesn't really make a difference to your player though. The only time I have seen anything that is different is the following.
On my computer I have TotalMedia Theatre 5 (TMT 5) set up as the default player for m2ts files. If I navigate into the Blu-Ray folder & click on the first m2ts file(00455) TMT 5 opens & plays 00455. When 00455 is completed there is a hesitation before it plays the next m2ts file but it does play it. There is just that annoying hesitation between. If I take the entire Blu-Ray folder & just Drag & Drop it onto the opened TMT 5 window, it will play the entire movie without any hesitations.
Thanks for explaing that. I was really wondering, because I had never seen that before. I was also surprized that the entire Movie was only about 21 GB. Considering the lenght of 2 hours and 8 minutes I would have expected more, but my bought Blu-ray when I played it looked great! No compression noticable to me. And my backup copy was not compressed, so should look great also. Now I can let the kids have the backup to watch. They tend to watch them over and over and over! Use them for coasters, games etc. Isn't DVDFab wonderful!!!
