You're actually burning at 12X!?!? Slow it down, buddy. Try 4X and see if you get a coaster. I've bought and burned hundreds of 4X 25GB BD-Rs and I have never made a coaster.

Down load an set ImgBurn it's free. You will then set up AWS which is automatic write speed, there are plenty of tutes on this site! Nd Ritek is pretty crappy media! Some good some bad! Always burn at half what the disc is rated for!
        For Win7 C:\Users\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
        or Vista C:\Users\User Name\Documents\DVDFab\Log
        or for XP C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\My Documents\DVDFab\Log
Please use attachment button and attach your most recent, Internal and Burn log(s)and post right here.

            Hi MIKEYLIKESIT
If you would like to use ImgBurn as your burn engine, most of us do, you will find instructions in the link in my signature.
Remember to set up AWS in ImgBurn and your write speed to 1/2 the rated speed of your media.

I also agree with my friends Ritek are not very good media.

You may also have better success by keeping up to date on your drives firmware, the newest firmware for your drive is here

NOTE If you do not know how to flash your drive do not do it, it will render your drive useless.

            Hope this helps

                  Hi MIKEYLIKESIT
You can use the VSO burn engine that is bundled with Fab.
To do this please Open Fab click the Click the Green at top right corner of the DVD Fab screen, and open Common Settings > DVD/ Blu-Ray > Write to the right under write speed set it to 4x click OK and restart Fab, your done.

The advantage of using ImgBurn is that is is more configurable.
If you use different media that has different write speeds, you will be able to set the write speeds for all your media using the AWS in ImgBurn.

The link for ImgBurn is here http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download use Mirror 7.

Also by keeping your drives firmware up to date, helps by making it more compatible for different media that it may struggle with older firmware

If you have anymore questions feel free to post back.

                      Hi MIKEYLIKESIT
Most firmware comes with an installer and yours does.
I tried to install it on my computer and it said No iHBS112 2 drive detected.

Download and Save the file to where ever you save files, navigate to your downloads, right click, click run as administrator, you should be prompted with a screen saying something like you are going to flash the firmware from PL02 to PL05 do you want to continue, click yes, after it is done you may have to restart your computer and your done.
                      Hope this helps

thank you so very much for your attention on this matter, so far 2 discs of four that were coasters are burning fine thanks to img burn and your instructions, lastly...so the consensus is that ritek is a piece of garbage...ok..the reason why i have it is because i can get 100 for an average of about 1 dollar per disc, is there anything of higher quality that i can get for that price? if not...whats the better brand to get for not very expensive?
