Well, that error indicates a read error on the file.

        102 DVD_Error_ReadFile

I would check the surface of the disk for fingerprints/scratches and clean anyway before I tried it again.

Have you tried another title so that we can at least isolate it to this disk?

Disc two worked fine, i tried disc one again and got the 102 error again.

The disc is also clean as a whistle. no scratches or finger print marks :/

even though the disc looks fine from looking at it does not mean that the files that are on it are any good. Download and install VSO inspector and do a surface scan of the original DVD. If you get any errors then it a bad disc

Good call AGJ. I keep forgetting about VSO Inspector.

I just not sure if it works on Blu-ray

Edit: I just checked and it does support Blu-ray

                    @ 62.6% good 0 problem and 0 error

the log showing a reading of sector 7514353 failed: Code 00 00 00 [No sense informatio]

seems like a bad disc? it played fine earlier on ps3.. I'll try getting a new disc i guess.

                    Thanks for the fast support.

even though it plays fine does not mean it OK as DVD drives are different than DVD Players and they read the DVDs differently
