Just adding some basic stuff to driggle's sound advice.

When backing up the main movie only it is best to rip the full disc to your hdd first to an iso image (or folder).
Select the main movie option, Use that iso of the full disc as the source.

Fab will show you the file size before and after estimated compression. If doing Full disc, Fab Will not support that feature yet but is in the works.

(With the original BD disc in the burner, what does windows report it being? Less than 25BG? More than 25Gb?)

In the dropdown beside quality select BD25 (I read your other post and I think you have those settings correct).

    The default is BD25= 23,700 MB BD50= 43,700 MB

    From your ImgBurn log
    I 08:44:53 Destination Media Type: BD-R (Disc ID: VERBAT-IMc-00) (Speeds: 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x)

    I 08:44:53 Write Speed: MAX

Watch Troy512's video on how to set the AWS (automatic write speed) per your media ID (MID).
Edit: (click the ImgBurn link in my sig for Troy's post)

I don't have that particular movie to test but here is a thread from another user that seems to have backed it up successfully and found he was having problems with his burner. Terminator Salvation I hi-lighted some of his ImgBurn log so you can compare to what I pointed out with yours.

So i said what the heck and i bought the software Blue Ray to Blue Ray. I did some adjusting like you guys suggested. I thought lets try and burn the Full Movie. Copied ok but stopped burning with an error 116 at about 60%. I had tried earlier to do a Movie only burn but for some reason it was reading way to slow. At about 40 minutes it had read only about 6% of DVD. I dunno, guess i'll just wait for my BD-RE and go from there. But you would think after paying almost $60 for the software you wouldn't have any problems. That you wouldn't have to adjust stuff yourself just to get it to work....

Any sofware, Fab included, cannot take into account the millions of different systems that it may be run on, especially ones that are poorly maintained.

After all the re-sets of settings here is what i got when i tried to do Star Trek at Movie only setting. Here are some of the stats as it started to read:

It is about a 2 hour movie

Started to read at 1.75 MB/s which is real slow, but then kept going down to about 1.30 - 1.09 MB/s.

It read 1.7% of DVD in 10 minutes.

And it was showing that it would take 9 hrs to do the burn.

Here is the log at time when i stopped process:
