    Cinavia/clone

    Just asking. If I was to back up a Cinavia infected blu ray to a 50 gb blank
    using CLONE method, would the back up play o/k (no cinavia message and muted sound after 20+ mins)? Has anybody tried it? p.s. using 8.1.8.5 not

    My understanding is that if you backup a Cinavia disc to a blu ray player that has been updated with Cinavia or to a Playstation with an update after 4.0, it does not matter how you copy it. It won't play properly.

      The sound will be muted in Clone mode. Use FullDisc and main movie mode.
      Please check "Create Protected Disc (BDMV-REC)..." check-box when you backup fulldisc or main movie. (PS3<4.0)
