Avengers 3D Clone Won't Play

Trying to backup Avengers 3D using v8.2.1.2 BluRay Clone. The original reads and creates .iso fine. The backup also burns fine through DVDFab, however the backup freezes before the main menu shows on screen. I've tried burning twice at reduced speeds to BD-R DL discs and also to a BD-RE DL.

Has anyone else had this issue or been able to Clone the 3D version properly?

Try the main movie only and see if it works

ive been avin lots problems with 3d and things dont seem to be gettin sorted , eveytime i do a 3d try to watch and it messes up freeze or glitches , avengers 3d stutters for me so did others not been using it long but i done these movies with sonic no problems at all , dvdfab could be a great programme just seems to be to many problems

If I choose main movie, will it automatically select both the left and right eye streams from the disc, or will I end up with only a 2D copy?

Does the iso file play well on PC?
You should select "Copy as 3D" option in Main movie.

I backed up the disc using Main Movie and selected 3D. I mounted the iso and it plays fine on the computer. I burned it to a Sony BD-RE DL disc (which I have used to test many other 3D blu ray movies), and it does not play in the player. It starts loading and then freezes at the menu. Trying to skip chapters, etc. does not do anything.

I am using the suggested settings for ImgBurn. Any other suggestions on how to get it to burn properly would be appreciated.

I was a version down on ImgBurn, so I updated. I burned the backup again to the Sony rewritable. I tried the disc in my computer and it played fine. I tried it on my 3D BluRay player and it freezes on the menus. I upgraded the firmware on the BluRay player to the latest, but the the disc still freezes on the menus and will not play.

Any suggestions at this point?

I've used this disc many times before to test other movies and never had any issues.

For what it's worth. I have only had success using the Dvdfab burn engine whenever I try to back up a 3d movie. Try using that instead of IMG and see if that fixes your problem. It did mine.

ImgBurn cannot burn Blu-ray 3D disc, you need use DVDFab burning engine instead.

as stated many times before it still does it with dvdfab virtual drive iso with powerdvd ive posted all ova about 3d and still no update or not even a reply on the logs about it

I went back and burned the iso using the DVDFab burning engine and received the same result. The disc boots, the beginning part of the menu comes up showing Play, Scenes and Setup at the bottom. However the rest of the screen is black and hitting Play, etc. yields no results.

Success!!! I updated to 8.2.1.3 and created a Clone. I then burned using DVDFab burning engine and the backup now plays in my blu-ray player!!!
