Quality of compressed 25G movie

I know it is cheaper to compress a 50GB movie using DVDFab to a 25G disk but how does the quality of the movie compare? In most cases if I am copying a 50GB movie and copy the movie only it is usually around 32-40GB that is then compressed onto a 25GB disk. Is is worth the quality improvement, if any, to use the more expensive 50GB disks is you want only the movie and not all the extras? Can you tell a difference in the quality?

No two movies are the same size. The output quality depends on the how big it was to start with.

You should copy the main movie only and drop any audio tracks you don't need.

Quality is in the eye of the beholder, I would copy some and create ISO's, mount them, play them and see what you think.
