I can't find any firmware for this drive.

    That is an internal drive. It is a LG Black 12X BD-R 2X BD-RE 16X DVD+R 12X DVD-RAM 10X BD-ROM 4MB Cache SATA 12X Super Multi Blue with 3D Playback & M-DISC Support WH12LS39 (from Newegg order page)

It has 1.00D firmware. I am looking for a newer version. After this issue I tried an external drive on several computers and had the same issue.

Haunting in Connecticut Blu-ray was released at 2009, so it should not contain any new protection, I think the problem is caused by the drive, can you try to open it on a PC with an internal drive?

I have never had this issue before and have successfully archived several disks since this started with this one including the Raven yesterday.

I will check for a firmware or driver update.

I have a USB BD reader for my mac air that experienced the same issue on four different machines.

    Thanks

Is it possable caused the issue by the BD-ROM connection? It should be only have one "Opening driver X" when reading real disc normally. Maybe the BD-ROM connection is disconnected but connected again when reading the disc. The connection is not stable.
Just a guess, please update your driver of BD-ROM and have try again.
How about other discs? or only this disc could not be opened?

I wanted to copy it before my kids took it on a trip and don't have any more interest in it.

    Hi Phleddd
Enlighten me as to why do you no longer have the disc???
I can not remember never being able to copy a disc that I got rid of it.

The picture disappeared. I uploaded it again.

[QUOTE=Phleddd;124854]I posted the log. It never opens the disk.

The last time I tried it was back to not knowing what it was.

I was offered two suggestions which while appreciated were not the issue.

I followed the suggestion of installing UDF, posted my results and waited as I still am.

I no longer have the disk so it does not matter.

    Thanks

I think they need to get the disc, which can take some time in Beijing. You have received support from the DVDFab Staff.

I gave up on this disk. Am I to expect virtually no real support? I paid for a 2 year license thinking support came with it.

I installed UDF, same thing. With another disk, (The Others) it immediately sees it and asks for region choice.
