Sounds like your optical drive controller has changed to PIO mode. Do you know how to check the controller in device manager? How to post the internal log

v8.2.1.5 Qt Taking hours to copy a Blu-Ray Movie
First off I would like to thank you for your help. Next, I tried resetting the DMA as you said in the Settings Screen and rebooted and still the same problem. Nine hours to copy Blu-Ray. It starts out fast then the speed goes down to .9 MB/s which converts to 11 .5 hours.
I also went into my optical drive controller in Device Manager and all is well there. Ultra DMA is the setting.
The Disk Writer is working ok as far as copying regular DVDs it just don't like BD. I do have confidence that the Writer is ok. It is new.
The computer is running great and i am useing Windows 7 Ultiimate.
Any more idea would be greatly appreciated. Awaiting your response.
