Taking hours to copy a Blu-Ray Movie

Been copying BD for 3 Months with no problems and all of a sudden it's taking 9 to 11 hours to copy a BD movie. I am useing 8215 QT with a Liteon ihbs212 Blu-Ray DVD Burner. I already checked my Firmware it is up-to date. Can anyone help. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like your optical drive controller has changed to PIO mode. Do you know how to check the controller in device manager?

Sure, let's try this first. See the attached picture, in common settings/general press the reset DMA button and see if that speeds things up. If not I'll be around.

First off I would like to thank you for your help. Next, I tried resetting the DMA as you said in the Settings Screen and rebooted and still the same problem. Nine hours to copy Blu-Ray. It starts out fast then the speed goes down to .9 MB/s which converts to 11 .5 hours.

I also went into my optical drive controller in Device Manager and all is well there. Ultra DMA is the setting.

The Disk Writer is working ok as far as copying regular DVDs it just don't like BD. I do have confidence that the Writer is ok. It is new.

The computer is running great and i am useing Windows 7 Ultiimate.

Any more idea would be greatly appreciated. Awaiting your response.
