3D Copy Cannot playback any 3D movie at all

hi, I have now burnt all my 1420 DVD and BlueRay disks and all work falwlessly in MyMovies 4 and TMT 4 in MCE and Windows 7. I burn all my disks to a Windows 2008 R2 server as folders and playback is on a dedicated HTPC with GBit network connection. I am using DVDFAP 8.2.2.0 (Latest) and 9.0.1.0 (latest I believe)
I have a few 3D BlueRay disks and not a single one seem to play back !!
I burnt to Folder, then Folder +Miniso and then tried straight ISO. I mounted the ISO with both DVDFAP Virtual drive and Slysoft virtual drive. I fired up TMT 4 to eliminate any issues with MCE and MyMovies and the movie starts by playing chapter-1 which is an 8 sec clip telling me to put 3D glasses on and then there is a BLANK 22second clip that is STUCK for ever.
I am currently trying the same burn to Folder (ALWAYS FULL COPY) with version 9.0.1.0 to see if that makes a difference.
Is this a DVDFAP issue or TMT 4 issue or Both ???
PS: The Disk plays fine on the panasonic player...

1. Can TMT on your PC play the original 3d disc?

I have two identical BlueRay Writers in my server (Both are LiteOn iHBS312). I used both to cut all 1412 DVD and Blueray to my server. I took one out and installed on my HTPC which actually has the TMT 5.3.1.146 (I thought it was ver 4.x by mistake). Anyway I put Avatar and 2 other 3D movies in the new drive and worked great every time. So there is domething odd about the folder or ISO that DCDFAP is creating.
I am doing a fresh cut to a folder and will append the log too after trying it but I am sure something is not right with the decryption etc...

The movie starts as before telling me to put 3D glasses on and I can ONLY lits chapter 1 & 2. I do not know if there are more but there is 46GB of data in the folder.
I know a friend has managed to cut this to a folder with another product and he has exactly the same setup and it works. I ma happy to work with you to resolve this so please tell me what you want me to try next...

More tests,
1) Tried FULL COPY with the open of Write using DVDFAP Engine and the same result
2) Also tried MAIN FILM Only with DVDFAP Engine

I can only ever list chapter 1 & 2 which are 8 and 22 Seconds. The main film which I think is Chapter 36 is not listed even though the data is on the HDD

Obviously there are users out there who have managed to cut FULL 3D movies or DVDFAP would not be able to claim 3D playback.

I now wait for the developers to look at the log and tell me what they want tested next...

Further tests

One last test. I performed a FULL COPY + create minISO
If I then mount D: drive with the minISO first in explorer and then launch TMT then the film plays.
SO the questions are:
1) Why can I not burn 3D movies like I do with other normal DVD and BlueRays disks (Non-3D) and then play them normally? Why do i need to have them as MinISO ??
2) If this is a restriction then how do I mount the MinIso within MyMovies and then get it to Launch TMT to start the film from virtual D: Drive?

I think we got a nproblem here. I have seen other threads about this but no answer. I really would like to have the ability to open the 3D movies just like any other movie. I do not want anther complicated layer of starting a Virtual drive, then mount and then unmount after the movie has finished.

If I can fnd a way of Auto-mounting the MiniISO then I consider using it but for now I am stuck. I have to mount it in Explorer and then play it. This is unacceptable as a solution

Hi,

If you want to target to an ISO file, you must set DVDFab burning manually in Common Setting.
If you target to a folder, not have the ssif file in the target folder, you must mout the .miniso file by DVDFab virtual driver, and then play by TMT and PowerDVD. .ssif files are absolutely necessary for the 3D playback.

Thanks Wilson for the reply. Unfortunately this does not answer my issue.
I use BLUERAY FULL COPY on normal BLUERAY disks to create a folder on my server and on normal blueray or dvd films it works flawlessly.
I follow the SAME process for a 3d BLUERAY and the FULL COPY completes with a successfull messege but when I try to play back it either plays a short chapter (1) that says put your 3D glasses and then black screen or just a black screen.
I really do not want to create miniso files or ISO files if possible. This is an additional unwelcome copmplication that I do not really want to introduce.
I have managed ONCE to perform a FULL COPY + Miniso and then mount the miniso BEFORE I start TMT. This means for the few 3D titles I cannot use MCE interface. I may as well just put the BlueRay disc in the Blueray player and not use DVDFAP for those titles.
Can Someone on this forum send me exact instructions on how to create a FULL DISC folder of a 3D movie and then be able play it back in MCE ???

I really appreaciate any help provided as this is now driving me nuts...

If the above is not possible then I would say DVDFAP should update their online documentation on how to creeate an ISO that can definitely be auto mounted in MCE interface and played without first mounting drives etc...

The best answer I really want is a method to FULL COPY to a folder and play it back just like any other Blueray. Does ny one know how to do this ??
