I have an LG 6X Re-writable drive and everytime I try to copy a blueray, it gets between 50-60% then drops down from 3-6 mb/s down to 0.03 mb/s.
After waiting 30 minutes to see if it will recover, the transfer speed disappears all-together and the time remaining as well. The only thing that will be still working is the time elapsed.
I tried this multiple times, using different settings that I saw in the forum but I have not seen anyone with this exact problem.
I have a 2.4ghz quad core with a 1gb ati gfx card, 500 gb hd, 8 gigs ram, and fastest HD for my motherboard (i forget the specs on HD but it is sufficient and has plenty of space)
Everytime, I delete the ISO files it created.
I tried ripping the dvd first and it did the same thing. Always stopping in between 50-60% but the amount varies.
I'm compressing the movie to a 25gb disc and the movie isn't that big anyways, it says its only compressing it down from 100-96%.
If you need any other info for me just ask, I've tried almost everything I can; reviewing the forums, FAQs, settings tweaks, etc.
I've had this happen approximately 10 times already.
Need help thanks!
Oh btw, I've tried DVD Fab 9, and DVD Fab 8.2.2.6. - I thought it was strange that it upgraded to 8.2.2.6. from version 9?- That seemed rather backwards but nonetheless, either version does the same thing.
