DTS audio is it converting to ac3?

I noticed that when copying the "main movie" part of a Bluray it always says "convert DTS/LPCM audio to AC3"

It does this even though I do not have the "remove HD audio" box checked.

Is there no way to keep the DTS audio? Or am I missing something? I have gone through settings don't see anything "out of whack"

My concern is when I make an MKV of a movie I use the "h264 audiocopy" settings but if dvdfab is converting the soundtrack over to AC3 then that's not really a true "audiocopy" is it?

Looks to me like this feature is disabled in your settings...which is why you cannot check or uncheck. So I do not believe it is converting dts to ac3.

    You should be ok.

Did you convert a movie and this is happening?

      Thanks

I went back and looked on my media player and it is showing DTS audio.

Seems like a programming error for it to show up when its not doing anything.

      Thanks

while I do thinks its confusing for the user to have this stuff shown, I don't think its an error/bug...Fab designed it to be shown. Just like the "create mini iso" feature...I never use this, no need to have option visible.

But it is what it is.

For DVDFab v8, if the checkbox is not shown, it means it's disabled.

For DVDFab v9, the checkbox will be shown.
DVDFab is the all-in-one software package for copying Blu-ray/DVD and converting video file.
