Copy as Blu-Ray 3D fails to work

Is "Copy as Blu-Ray 3D" option supposed to work when compressing a 45GB 3D full disk to a 25GB disk? I have tried this numerous times, and every time I get a movie that plays as a 2D movie on both of my LG BD670 players.

Has anyone ever actually gotten this to work?

It is without a doubt that it does not work from the several comments made in various posts. None of the mods or even the software developers have yet to come clean on this matter. In fact no one has provided an answer to any of my questions regarding this issue. Every copy that I have made compressing the disc down to 25GB in size has failed to produce a 3D image. I purchased my Blu-ray drive burner because it specifically supports 3D modes. But that has not helped.

I have used both versions 8 and 9 with exactly the same results. Blu-ray Copy Full Disc, and Blu-ray copy Main Movie, Copy as Blu-ray 3D, will not produce 3D copies if compressed.

I have not made a 1 to 1 copy without compressing since I do not have any 50GB discs, so I can't confirm if this mode actually works or not.

I also found a flaw in DVDFab in that it will not read a Blue-ray Copy, Full Disc image after it is saved to the HD. All other programs that I have can read the image created without any issues. This problem has also not been addressed.

Thanks very much. This confirms my suspicion that this is another issue not yet resolved. Converting to SBS 3D does produce a usable copy, but of course loses half the resolution.

I have had many titles work in 3D after being compressed to fit a 25GB disc.
I have an LG writer and play them back on a standalone LG player.
Some titles I have managed to backup in 3d.
A christmas carol
john carter
the amazing spiderman
the avengers
wrath of the titans
dolphin tale
underworld awakening

I do have a problem with dredd..it simply wont back up as 3d for me.
Foxs newer titles in 3d give me a black screen so there are issues but lots of 3ds are successful using bluray copy full disc mode onto a 25gb disc.

Are you mounting the mini iso to the virtual drive,3d wont work unless you mount the mini iso onto virtual drive(which is free software in here )

seems like the answer would be to buy 50GB disks, and burn uncompressed..I have never tried to burn a 3D movie as a 3D, only from a 3D to 2D... and no issues.
