Compression stops in the middle of fab process

1m 47I have a new computer and have successfully used DVDfab for many years on my other computers. However, after I create a full size ISO clone of one of my titles, when I try and compress the full size ISO to fit a 25GB BR after a few minutes fab timmer turns to zero and the process stops. I've left it on overnight and it never starts back.

Anti Virus

A lot of times u have to either dis-able or completely remove your Anti Virus software to use this software. Especially Bitdefender which I have. Mine has stopped sometimes in the middle. Could be your answer.

Under settings on DVDfab change all a/v encoding to software and not Cuda or AMD. It fixed my problem of that same issue. But also make dvdfab a trusted site under your antivirus.

Fendango is listed three times in my anti-virus program, I changed from cuda to software (and just about every other setting I can think of), but it still freezes (timer goes to zero) or the process fails!!!

Why do I have an "Anti-Virus" program in the first place???

The whole idea of using (paying for) an anti-virus program is to prevent trojans, virus', malware and anything else that would otherwise "disable" my computer!!! If I disable my a-v program, then I leave my computer vulnerable to attack. (It's just like lowering the drawbridge and letting the horse to just come right in.)
Is this the standard policy of Fengtao Software Inc.? To create a problem that requires the user to allow his/her computer to be invaded?
Sorry, I don't buy it! And will not lower my defense against such an attack!!!!

Earthdog you dont have to disable the whole antivirus find the list of trusted sites and add dvdfab. I dont know what anti-virus your using so I couldnt tell you where it is.

As I said in the earlier post (see above), Fengtao is listed three times in my "avast!" anti-virus program. I am NOT having a problem with the DVD Copy (that works fine)...The problem is with the Blu-Ray Copy. It won't let me compress a 23 gig BRD to a 25 gig blank disk!
(Yeah, duh...I don't have to compress it...then why is the program requesting me to put in a dual layer disk?)

Ok I reread your post(s), I read you set everything to software instead of cuda could you post those logs? Maybe those will help more now that the cuda situation is dealt with. The only other option you have is try compressing the movie to the hard drive see if it helps. I presonally never had this issue so just coming up with some ideas. Another option is did you reset DMA?
