    Encoding settings

    Hi
I am using dvdfab bluray copy ver 9016 and am getting good results so am quite happy with the product but have noticed something in the encoding settings which asks you to select between fast and slow speeds. The fast speed has normal quality and the slow speed has high quality my question is does this have a huge affect on the finshed bluray, is the quality really going to be different ?

Method - Rip full movie to ISO - Open ISO and rip main movie to 25GB - Remove unneeded foreign soundtracks - Burn. at 2X on 4x Traxdata Bluray Discs.

Yes, it can be. You most likely will notice quality deterioration in fast-moving content. Otherwise you should be fine. However, I personally found slow/hiQ mode better, finer tuned than 2-pass.

      Encoding

      Hi
      Thanks for the reply !
I'll try the slow speed option, will it take a lot longer to encode and will the finished ISO be much bigger ?

At 2X it takes more time. But each is different...

"slow" or "fast" wont affect the size. However, processing time will be somewhat longer - not much though
