    Men in Black 3 problem

I did a search and didn't see anything related to my problem

When ever I try to copy the disk, it just slows to a stop while reencoding, whether I save it to file or disk. At 11 minutes everytime. I hope I attatched the right file in the correct manner.

    My computer is a i7 2600 with GTX670.

    Please help.

I don't get it? I can copy the whole movie to my harddrive but it will not let me reencode it to a single layer now matter what I try.

      Anybody? Please.

I have the same problem with Led Zeppelin Celebration Day since v8.2.2.2QT and all versions since either v9 or v8... It will copy the BD50 fine to a BD50 disk or to the Hard drive but try to compress it to a BD25 and it stalls while reencoding the disk, others have the problem as well such as Coolecho with his post of v8.2.2.4 Qt Progress burn runs indefinitely some BR movies and speedinbk with his post of Compression stops in the middle of fab process and earthdog is having the same issue with Led Zeppelin stalling at 98.14% of reencoding in his v9.0.2.0 Task_1 failed! Error=1010(504.00 1 1 ) post but CBR929 (mods) combined his posts into the Task_1 failed! problem with another of his posts so it muddy's the waters as earthdog is the only one getting the Task_1 failed! Error, But all these posts do have issues of compressing in the reencoding stalling when doing a BD50 to a BD25. and even DVDFab v8.0.8.5 has the same issue...

you will be told to check Disable all GPU Codecs and to uncheck Enable Lightning-Recoding and to restart DVDFab, try it, So far for me, I still have the same issue

So you are not alone, as we wait for this issue to be resolved.

BTW... with Disable all GPU codecs checked and Enable Lightning-Recoding Unchecked I was able to copy Men In Black 3 to a BD25, I didn't try MIB 3 with the GPU codecs and Lightning-Recoding as since the problem with the Led Zeppelin compression I have both v8 and v9 set to Disable all GPU codecs, and Lightning_Recoding disabled.

Thanks for the reply Holoperson, I appreciate that. Yeah I've disabled the GPU codec and unchecked lighting recoding and just went with software (Sandy Bridge) tried using V9 and V8 with no luck.

Funny thing though, doing just the main movie with HD audio removed I'm at 97%, so in one of my many tries using 8.2.2.4 I unchecked all the language stuff, and all the sound, but, for the AC-3/5.1 and it squeaked in at 100% for single layer. Without the rencoding, it worked, but then I discovered that the descriptive audio was on. So close, but no cigar. Very frustrating.

I have no GTX670, I think you should disable CUDA, and try the software again.
            Or update drive.

Are You Saying that under Common Settings - General Tab - A/V Codec that checking the Disable all GPU codecs box Does Not Disable CUDA?

Because he states he disabled the GPU codecs.

And when I check Disable all GPU codecs-
under Video Decoder - H264 it changes from CUDA to Software, VC1 changes from CUDA to Software, and MPEG2 stays at it default setting of Software. and under Video Encoder - H264 it changes from Software + CUDA to Software.

So where else in the software do you disable CUDA?

Holoperson is right, I've disabled CUDA and tried software. Could a software update introduce cinavia to my drive?

                  Hi Rex,

Cinavia only affects the audio on playback, on BluRay Players that have cinavia the audio will stop working in the middle of playing back the Disc, The video keeps playing, So you have a Silent Movie when it kicks in... It does not affect the reencoding Compression of a BD50 to a BD25

                    Hi Rex :
Just enable the option "Disable all GPU codecs for decoding and encoding" in Common Settings - General dialog.

Curious, eh? Would the be because dual layer BD disks are prohibitively expensive and it’s unlikely that most wouldn’t even bother to copy.

I have tired that, Potti and it's a no go. Actually, I have always used software because its always been faster for me.

I saw you were using 9022, please try the newer version:
New!DVDFab 9.0.2.3 Qt Beta is out

Or wait 9024, since we are improving and fixing many of problems.

No dice. I've downloaded the Beta 9.0.2.4 Now The Avengers is doing the same thing, stalling in compression, around the 10 percent stage. I've tried all the same stuff with the Avengers, to no avail.

Now I've tried some of my other BD movies that I've copied before, with no problem, and now I can't reencode any of them down to a single disc, either. I recently reformatted my computer but I've done that before with no problems. What would be stopping me from reencoding? This is bizzare.
