Disc not recognized in PS3

Hi, new member here.

I've just installed Blu-ray Copy and it worked great. Very intuitive and easy to use. I backed up 3 discs (Ted, Bourne Legacy, and Expendables 2) and all 3 discs work in my pc and stand-alone Panasonic blu ray player, but none are even recognized in my PS3.

Am I doing something wrong or missing something obvious?

I don't have the foggiest notion what the PS3 update files are or what they are for but the box to hide them on BR is checked by default. Maybe it needs them to play the disc

I unchecked this setting and backed up the Avengers, but same problem. The disc isn't even recognized in my PS3.

Anyone have any thoughts?

Well thanks for the info, I'll know next time. This latest update 4.31 I think, bricked my PS3 and I really don't care. Last of the Sony crap for me!
