    Setting for Compressing bluray

    Heres my setup :
    I7-3770K
    Asus P8z77-v pro
    GTX 560 2gb
    32 gb ram
    250gb ssd
    2tb 6.0 gb hdd

What would be my best setup for compressing blurays down to 25gb disc.

I've been using fab for years, but this new computer build, not sure what to set it on.

If your graphic's card supports Cuda or other software to speed up converting set that in Fabs settings check then enable turbo cpu and use maxium memory for converting also in Fabs setting's and your good to go,get busy,,,,,,

      No, forget CUDA.

You have Quick Sync available on your CPU, use this it's much quicker than CUDA or software alone.

But heres the thing about quick sync when compressing whole bluray down i cant use it. Blurays are vc1..and when i try to out that option in settings it says graphics card cant do it. I can use it when converting just not compressing.. im getting speeds if 2 mb/s right now, just trying to figure out how i can get more speed.

Some Blu-ray's are VC1, you will have to use software. Most these days are H264 so you can use Quick Sync.

You have an external video card so make sure LucidLogix VIRTU is installed and DVDFab.exe is in the app list.

So when i install Lucid Virtu MVP, i run i D-Mode or I-Mode? Also, what would my settings need to be? Do everything under quick sync?

DVDFab A/V codecs would all be set to Quick Sync apart from VC1.

I have literally tried every setting possible, and i'm still only getting about 2/MB second when compressing from 50gb to 25gb.

Am i doing someting wrong here?
