Error while reading!

"Error while reading! Please choose what to do? retry, abort, ignore, ignore All"

No matter what source disc I'm trying, I get this error before it's finished reading. This is very frustrating. Is there a setting that I don't have right or interference from something else on my machine?

I was able to make backups of blurays a while ago but have had problems ever since renewing my license and upgrading the version. Have tried new blanks, have a brand new burner, etc.

There are read errors on both logs. Did you clean the discs with window cleaner and a lint free cloth or did they just appear to be clean? If the latter clean them anyway, the laser see better than you.

Well I tried a pristine disc that I bought from the store and hadn't played yet and it did just fine. So the two I'm having problems with I bought used and while they don't appear to my eye to be so scratched there not rippable, i guess they are! I'll try to clean them and see if that helps, thank you!

Before giving up on them you might try ignoring the read errors. Check this box: Don't know if it works on BR discs or not?

Used disks have scratches in them a lot that a player will play ok but you won"t be able to copy them.

Now you can go to wallmart and buy a product called scratch out comes in a 3.5 fl. oz tube about $5.00 it repairs games,movies but it doesn't work on deep scratches and it's messy.You know by using a new disk that everything worked ok so its the disks.

BD-RW BDR-TD058.00 I tried to research your drive but there's no information anywhere on the internet why is this seems to be a Pioneer drive but i can't find out anything even on ebay.

I tried looking up my drive as well to find if there was a firmware update and I couldn't locate anything about it either! This is the drive: http://www.amazon.com/BUFFALO-MediaS...uffalo+blu+ray

Another thing I had to figure out was that when I tried to rip this last blu ray I created an iso file first, rather than just doing the straight copy that I had been doing. I saved the iso within the c:\user\dvdfab9 directory. When I went to make the disc, the iso was not there! I couldn't find it anywhere on my computer though I could tell from the hard disk space available that it was taking up space. Ended up locating it in virtualstore folder..........!!!!!!
