    Cannot copy The Hobbit 3D

Has anyone had any success in cloning the first disk ( Part 1) The Hobbit 3D with ver 9.0.3.8?

The program was able to rip the disk, but I got an I/O error a minute after the burning started. There was some data burned to the blank Bluray 50GB disk.

I tried another software, which I have used successfully if DVDFab does not work, and in this case it did not want to burn either.

You need to post your internal and burn logs that can be found in fabs files cut and paste the information for the disk you have problems with. When burning blu rays use recommended burn speed or half the disks rated speed when burning to prevent most burning problems.

Burning to fast is the number 1 burning problem burning with cheap disks ones your burner doesn't like is the number 2 problem.Make sure your burners firmware is up to date.Check for upgrades on your burners web sight as newer firmware fixes problems and makes the burner able to burn more brands of disks this is the third reason for bad burns.

Also make sure the disks are clean and free of fingerprints as some drives are very fussy.I have cloned both disks ok but don't remember what version of Fab I used.I never had a problem with making a clone with any version of Fab in the past unless the disk was scratched and you got read error's during making the iso. Posting your logs will tell us what if any errors happenened.

        Hobbit 3D

The newer Ver of 9 seem to have problems with 3Ds. I make a copy of this movie using Ver. 9.0.3.4, have not had any luck coping or burning 3Ds from Ver. 9.0.3.6 including the newest Ver.

I was having lots of problems with blurays on the 9 versions but this version
v9.0.3.9 Beta seems to have solved all the crashing out i was getting, the hobbit worked 3d both discs and rather oddly it seemed a much faster process than all previous backups of 3ds.
Try it..I was on the verge of giving up with dvdfab completely till this nice little beta came along.
Sadly it still has not sorted out the fox black screen issue for me but im hoping one of the developers will eventually crack it for all players.

                Hi king107s
Please try the latest version found here

Whats strange is this movie should be supported.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Extended Edition just came out so a server update should be coming for this movie.

The thing is I have not been able to open several of the newwer Bluray disks but MakeMKV had no problem opening and converting them... And you're right, all of the ones I've tried to make backups of were listed as being supported.
