Couple of questions about Bl-ray burning

I purchased DVDFab so that I woulde be able to copy blu-ray movies that I currently own. The program does a wonderful job of copying the movies some of the movies that I inserted. However, I also have another program on my machine. I used this program so that I could copy DVDs prior to Blu-ray. Unfortunately, it requires ****** which is not compatible withg DVDFab. When the program advises me to disable ******, I "OK" the message and it seems to copy the original very well. Does my action disable the program or should I do something else?

Also, the Blu-ray movies that I have copied are less than 25gb. I noticed that after it checks the movie, it says "no compression" is required. Unfortunately, I do have some blu-rays that are over 25gb. Will the program compress these movies or do I have to do something else in order to burn them? I do not want to buy 50gb blank disks in order to copy these movies.

Your assistance with my two problems will be greatly appreciated.

    Frank

    Hi Frank and welcome,
to answer your first question, with regards to ******, the best approach is to exit out of ******, by right clicking on it in your task bar.

as for the second question I do not believe you can compress a 50 GB to fit a 25 GB yet, unless you rip just the main movie then it might take it under the 25 GB, but not always.
so what I do in this case ( and this will not work for all 50GB ) is to use a free software called TsMuxer, you will end up basically with just the main movie anyway, but more often than not I can remove enough to get it on a 25 GB.
And if not then I buy a 50 GB disc to burn it to.

    hope this helped.

Most of the blu ray movies I have been copying lately are greater than 25GB, so I use "Main Movie" and select the 25GB option. This rips and compresses down to 23.7GB and then burns the main movies with no menus. I hear the feature to do a "Full Disk" copy with compression and menus is under development. I am waiting patiently as I miss the pop menus blu ray offers.
