    Copy main movie 3d bluray

    Hi,
I anyone having problems with using the copy main movie option when copying a 3d bluray, I do the main movie only to remove the java thing so I am able to zoom in to remove the black bars, some movies copy perfectly but alot play up with pixelation or just jams at the same parts, movies that have not copied well include Wreck it ralph, prometheus, dredd, brave, all in 3d, Its so annoying, why do they use this java for fancy menus etc, any idea for a fix for this cause I personally think 3d looks a heap better full screen. any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

    Cheers

    Hi,

Do you have pixelation problem if not zoom-in? What player do you use, and how do you zoom-in when playback?

    Best Regards,

You don't say if you are compressing the main movie and if so to what size? Full 3d or side by side?

        Hi,

The pixelation problem occurs regardless of zooming in or not, I use a OPPO BDP-93 Blu-ray Player (great player), To zoom in you just push the zoom button on the remote, makes the 3d so much better (in my opinion :-) ) As to the copy ratio, it's 100%, no compression and is in full 3d, sbs doesn't work with zoom, it separates the 2 images to far apart plus I don't like how you lose resolution with sbs

What speed are you burning your disks? What brand of blank media are you using? Their should be no pixelation with no compression.Post a internal log and a burn log.Are you using the new Fab version DVDFab 9.0.4.7 for Windows is out!

I haven't burnt to a disc yet, im copying to an iso file, my bluray has the ability to play 3dbd, I always test before I burn, when I do burn I burn at 2x speed on verbatim disc's. Ive copied each movie twice and they each play up in exact some spots for each movie, actually I just remembred I burnt wreck it ralph and it did exact same thing, it plays up with pixels about 1 minute into it hen jams after it dvdfab says it copied successfully

Movies that have copied successfully are Abraham Lincoln Vampire hunter, Hansel and Gretal, Oz the great and powerful, Resident evil Retribution, Texas chainsaw massacre and Transformers dark side of the moon, all work fine

Here's the log for Wreck it Ralph 3d, It plays up approx 1min 30sec into it by ear piercing sound, pixelated picture and can't skip to next chapter without jaming but will Fastforward on slowest speed while displaying 2d picture

I would try version 9047 to make the iso then try another free blu ray software player to make sure it's not your software player.

Also burning 3d disks at 2x may cause some problems i seen some drives supporting 2x burn speeds but 4x and above play speeds.

Like I said their should be no pixalation in uncompressed Fab made iso's not burned to disks.Trying another software player will confirm if it's a Fab problem.

Posting log files should always be done so we can see errors, outdated firmware on your burner and other reasons.

I think, this will be the "Ralph 3D" problem all the other movies you named only have 1 (perhaps 2) files in the SSIF folder (in stream folder), but "Ralph 3D" will have lots of files in the SSIF folder and your player will not be able to play them correctly.
I know the problem. beacause my himedia 900b will play the ISO of Ralph 3D correctly, but if I burn the MAIN movie to a 25GB BD the film will stutter permanently...

this problem can only be solved if Fab will merge the files from the SSIF folder to one big file

You will have the same problem at Merida 3D...
                          Grüße...

problem all sorted ok for others to learn from this what exactly did you do to cure this problem?

(Pueberall I think, this will be the "Ralph 3D" problem all the other movies you named only have 1 (perhaps 2) files in the SSIF folder (in stream folder), but "Ralph 3D" will have lots of files in the SSIF folder and your player will not be able to play them correctly.
I know the problem. beacause my himedia 900b will play the ISO of Ralph 3D correctly, but if I burn the MAIN movie to a 25GB BD the film will stutter permanently...

this problem can only be solved if Fab will merge the files from the SSIF folder to one big file

You will have the same problem at Merida 3D...)

                            Pueberall:
I agree this problem needs looking into i discussed this problem with a developer and he has agreed to get a 3d media player so they can test with it i am looking forward to seeing their results. This user had a pixelation problem with iso's to his hard drive i belive this is a different problem and hope he tells us what he did wrong or how he fixed the problem so others can learn.

Hmmm, I believe, it's the problem with too much files ... and it's too much busy for the CPU of mediaplayer to calculate the zoom without mistake. Bad pixelation will be also a problem of busy CPU...
                              Grüße...
