Jack the Giant Killer disk copy

Trying to make a full disk copy of JTGK. As I usually do, I copy my original to a hard drive 2(7+ GB) and then use the resulting files to make a full disk copy to a 50 GB 4x Verbatim disk. The resulting files are also used by BluRay Ripper to put a copy on another hard drive for my media player.

This process has worked well for me in the past, but the last three backups I've made start the burn process, climb to about 1.5 x burn rate and then rapidly degenerate to about 0.2 x, resulting in 6 - 7 hour burn times. I don't know if this is a symptom of version 4.7 or what, but I'm sure that DVDFab used to burn these at 3.5 - 4 x.

The BluRay in question is from Warner Studios, so I don't think Cinavia is involved. Anyone else having a similar issue?

Which option did you use for burning the resulting files in a hard drive to Blu-ray disc? Full disc or Clone? Which burning engine did you use?
More info are needed. Please post the internal log and burn log. Thanks.

I tried and can't even copy mine. Kinda need a copy, the kids like it and I don't want my disc damaged.
