Until now, I've been a DVD user whereby I've used DVD Copy to copy a disc's main movie files to a hard drive. I'm just now migrating to Blu Ray where I perform the same function except using the Blu Ray Copy option. When I play a Blu Ray on my local machine I have the luxury of advancing by chapter, yet when I play it on my [EVA9150] media player the chapter control only advances 30 seconds ahead (though it would always work as expected on DVD's). Given that the Blu Ray copy works as expected on my local machine does that imply that my media player is at "fault" for not advancing chapters on Blu Rays? Is there a remedy? Thanks.

Yep, your player IS at fault.
I have 4 media players on my network and they all use the chapter markers fine.
The remedy?
Check for any firmware upgrades for your player that may fix this.
Harass your media players support line or forum for such an upgrade.
