Backing up using "full disc" or "clone" mode?

Hi any help here would be appreciated...I'm backing up my bluray discs and wanted to know what the pros/cons are to doing it using the "full disc" mode vs the "clone" mode. I would like to achieve the best quality back up possible (audio/video wise), and I would like to have a back up on my hdd as well as a 50gb bluray disc.
Again any help here would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Keith

Thanks for the reply bean. Since I don't plan on altering the bluray's content I think I'll go the iso (clone) route for the most part.
