    Croods 3D clone doesn't open

I just cloned the 3D version of The Croods, using Verbatim 97284 DL. In my BluRay player, the original will open, but the clone won't. This has never happened before with a clone, since it's a bit-for-bit copy. Any suggestions?

Post your internal and burn log files where fab is stored for the disk that you have trouble with cut and paste it to a post or attach it with the attach button when posting. This should be done any time you have trouble with Fab.

      Croods Logs

Sorry. There didn't seem to be a problem with the copy process, so I didn't include them. I wanted to see if anyone else had the same problem. The two log files are below:

FYI - I just tried it with 8.2.2.9, and no success. The results were the same, it wouldn't open in the BD player. Also, I had just completed a successful clone of "The Little Mermaid" in 9.0.6.3. Plopped in "The Croods", and no-go. Strange.

I would update fab to version 9070 and use Fab burning engine in blu ray burn settings set at recommended burn speed and try again post those log files if it don't work. Also post model blu ray player and buy link for disk.

Try playing the iso you have already made on the computer with a software player does it play on the computer? You can use the player in fab preview if you don't have a software player on the computer.

Ok now I am having this problem with opening iso's on the computer with power dvd 11 the iso (SaFe haven) loads then does nothing if you try to move to a different part of the movie it says prohibited but it will open in Fabs previewer and play and also play on my media player.I tried making iso's with fab 9069 and 9070 logs attached.

Iso made with version 8229 also won't play the iso on power dvd 11 (prohibited) but plays on Fabs viewer and media player.

When I load the iso into DVDFab, I can play the two full-length movie files, each in 2D, of course. When I try the cloned disk in the DVD player, it locks up before it even gets to the menu. The player's a Samsung BD-C5900, and I get the Verbatims from Amazon.

Do you have other fab made iso's that play on your Samsung using the same batch of Verbatims?

Yes - never had a Verbatim failure yet.

Old thread, but seems to be still the same with this disk.
                      My 3D @ 25Gig won't play in my BD-Player (only black-screen)

Hi: Post your internal and burn logs for this disk also did you use Fab burn engine in Fab settings?
What player make and model 3d player did you use to play it on?
Does it play on a 3d software player if you have one?

                          OK, i made it work...

                          1st:
I used another tool to make a 1:1 clone and tested this on a 50GB BD-RE : works.
                          2nd:
I changed all setings in DVDFab BluRay-copyprotection-settings to be off.
                          3rd:
The resultuing 25GB-Image burned with ImgBurn is playable on my BD-Player.

Before, with the copyprotection all ON the disc won't play --> DVDFab has changed something in the BD that results in blackscreen...

                            Hi Jeppa:
You should post your log files and other requested information anyway to help others should they have the same problem and to help Fab determine if anything needs to be done to the program to make it work as it should.
