ANOTHER BD+ Issue and failed copy

    All,
Yet again I have had a BDROM fail to backup due to BD+ not being supproted (Valkyrie this time). Over the past two weeks every movie I have tried has failed due to that same reason. I am using the newest Beta and still have an issue. I hope this is something that is getting taken care of soon because as of now this program is a complete waste of my 100 bucks. I have only had success with 5 of the 18 I have tried thus far. This program could be the next great thing if it would work. When it has worked it has been awesome but someone really needs to figure out the BD+ issue.

It will be a continual, ongoing work in progress because as new disks come on the market, they will require cracking as, the way I understand it, each disk has a unique code that has to be cracked.

It will always be so and that is why betas are continually released.

Apologies if this is considered hijacking but it is a BD+ question...

Edit: It is considered hijacking, I started you a thread

it also might help if you listed the blu rays you are having issues with so they can be looked into and how you are trying to copy them.

Well, GrediBoy... This post does pose a question. The question obviously was one inlaid within my statement about my issues. Whats the deal with all my failed copies. Apparently, from what I see my answer is that it is just something that takes time. So, on my side I am going to start with some of the older BDROMs I need to backup and go from there. I would also say that this post is not "NONSENSE". This is a knowledge base forum with questions and answers. I posted a post about my issues so that others may respond to my statement and maybe give some useful feedback. I am also a buyer of this program and I deserve to here real feedback.

I was referring to this post, not yours if you would have read correctly...

And I stand by what I said. This poster had nothing to add to the discussion and did not even pose a question.

Yes, the answer to your question is that it will take time. Us old hands here have seen this all before with the "DVD to DVD" module. It is a continual process and a vicious cycle.

                1. DVD Fab defeats the copyright.
                2. Studios release new copyright schema
                3. Go back to step 1

This is an ongoing process and this is why betas are continually released.

Fengtao and the DVD Fab team have never let us down in over my 6 years of using their products but it takes time.

A new title is released, a new copy protection is used.
Fengtao and his team in Beijing have to physically obtain the disk.
They then have to crack it
They then have to alter the Fab code to accomodate
They then have to release a new beta.

If you expect no time delay between the release and being able to rip it, I would suggest that you will never achieve this.

PS: As I have just said in another thread, just google "BD+ Wikipedia" and it may give you some insights.

I SEE... I just misread what you were getting at. Yes, this seems to be a great company that is working to get it done. However, I do still find it a bit frustrating that movies like Valkayrie that have been out for sometime are still coming up as BD+ not supported. The BRAND NEW movies are understandable of course. Either way, to do what I am doing the way I am doing it; this program is really good. It's just frustrating that it has to be such a pain sometimes. In reality that is not DVDFabs issue as much as it is the movie companies being a holes. Oh well... stupid copyprotection. My movies so I should be able to back them up without the hassel. arrgggghhhh....
