    Problem with RIPD

Using 9.0.7.0 this movie was getting the abort/ignore/retry error around 54%. Brand new disc, no visible issues. I decided to update to 9.1.1.0 to see if that would correct it. Now a new issue with the VirtuMVP logo blocking parts of the screen, here I can't even select the audio track:

But anyway, ran the rip anyway. Still get the error at 55%. I ended up hitting Ignore All, and it finished, but haven't had time to see if plays correctly. Here is the log:

You can turn off that Virtu stuff in Virtu.

I would dump the Radeon 7800, uninstall the Virtu and go with the Intel HD graphics.

I see read errors so if the disk is new without any scratches return it as its defective.Or your laser lens is dirty try a cleaning disk.

Exactly what I did with a 7700, just took the power plug off and left it in the slot so I can find it again if I ever want to use it again.

Virtu is not running, it is only installed. And I'm not doing a conversion or compression, just a straight rip to BDMV so the videocard is not involved. The Virtu logo has always showed in the preview area IIRC, and would go away when I play a file, but now is popping up in these areas with the new UI and is in the way.

So just checked my settings and it seems installing 9.1.1.0 changed the settings to using the GPU. But again, this was not the case when I first had this issue with 9.0.7.0, and anyways I'm just doing a copy with no compression. Also found the Virtu logo to be popping up in all sorts places, covering controls:

And again Virtu is not running, this DVDFab doing this. I assume it must have a function to see if Virtu is installed and if it is throw up this logo?

That has got to be one of the most annoying things I've ever seen in this program. I hope they help you resolve this issue.

But in the mean time, if I were you, I'd try what 90312 suggested.

I'm still confused on why the videocard has anything do with this?

If Virtu is on your computer it means you have Intel HD xxxx video and you don't really need any discrete video card unless you're a gamer. Nobody is blaming the video card.

I game, thus the 7850. Really I only installed Virtu to use Quicksync with DVDFab, but I wasn't ever impressed with the quality so I don't use it. So one vote for a bad disc, anyone else rip RIPD successfully?
