Can somebody else check/confirm the following PCM audio 'bit depth' bug?
If you back-up a Blu-ray audio disc using the 'MKV Passthrough' option, the PCM audio stream is saved with a 32-bit 'bit depth' instead of a 24-bit bit depth.
By contrast, if you back-up a Blu-ray audio disc using the 'M2TS Passthrough' option, the PCM audio stream is saved correctly with a 24-bit 'bit depth'.
I de-muxed the audio streams from both containers and compared their file sizes and characteristics and it would seem that the 'MKV Passthrough' option is actually re-encoding the PCM audio stream
Cheers
