Blu-Ray copy of RUSH Clockwork Angels has 247 GB when the disc has 45.33 GB

No issues copying other Blu-Ray. Rush Clockwork Angels Tour Blu-Ray start copying normally, but it slows down and takes over 5 hours. Tried numerous times with same results. Disc has 45.33 GB and file ends up being 274 GB!!!

Try making an iso image to the HDD, if it's the protection scheme I'm thinking of the iso will be correct and you can burn that. Of course I could be full of beans!

I had the same thing happen to me also with the To the Arctic a Imax film 3d disk and was made into a cloned iso.Looks like a advanced form of the expanding files type protection.I returned the disk and ordered another just to be sure.I will retry when I get it.

Need a staff member to look at our logs and see if they can work on this.
I made another rip to hard drive after this one so its also in the same log as I didn't close Fab.

Tried an ISO file on the HDD. Came up to 47.5 GB which "makes" sense. Unfortunately for me I don't want to burn, I just want to copy it for my media player.

Glad it worked for you. There are copy protection(s) that put superfluous files on the disc and when copied will expand to enormous size, an iso image is a sector by sector copy and doesn't trigger the expansion. A basic explanation from a guy with a basic understanding

Got a second new blu ray of To the Arctic 3d this one worked fine as a cloned iso and as a 3d file only difference is I used the current Fab version for this one and the 9121 for the one that didn't work go figure.

Try cloning it to a folder and see if it blows up.

You can't clone to folder only iso but you can make a full disk 3d folder that I did and it worked fine then I added a mini iso and put it back in Fab made a iso and burnt to disk no problem.So could have been a defective disk or the only other difference was the version of Fab was one version older than the version I used with this disk and theirs nothing in the release notes about this.
