    The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug

Successfully ripped and burned full disk. Unfortunately, the disk's menu stays on the screen throughout the movie when watching the backup. Pressing "play movie" several times resulted the the movie starting over again.
    Anybody have a clue?
    Thanks

I think you need to update a few things here.

From your burn log it says:Windows Vista Home Premium (Build 6001: Service Pack 1) unless you have a special version my last vista home computer was on service pack 2. I would think this would be a must for security reasons alone so check this first you can do a windows update check.

Your LG blu ray burner is 2 versions out of date on it's firmware. You can update here http://www.firmwarehq.com/download_2...ew%29.zip.html
You must Follow directions to the letter or you can ruin your blu ray drive.

You Fab program is also old use the newest version here https://forum.dvdfab.cn/forum/dvdfab...9-1-3-8-is-out

Also I would only use the Fab burner or img burn to burn the disks with a good brand of blank disks.

Miami:In your other post you also used a old version of Fab so update to the newest and retry the other problem.

Turns out I put the backup in a different blu ray player and it worked fine -- no disk menu. Odd, I guess. Got the problem with my Oppo but not with my Panasonic. I stopped updating the firmware on the Oppo a while back so it could continue to play ISO's -- this may be the cause.
However, thank you for your quick response and suggestions. I did update Windows and the LG just to be on the safe side next time. I use Verbatim blanks.
