What happened to the program and why? Was there any notice put out that this would happen soon? This seems out of the blue and what do we do or use now since people paid for "never expire" and that is exactly what has happened.
Hi drkbrn23
In case you did not click the link in signals post in the thread link my friend glenns posted for the DVDFab website.
Q: Why do I see the notice about AACS circumvention?
A: Making backup copies of discs you own or converting them to play on different devices (commonly called "Fair Use" in most places) requires circumventing or removing the copy prevention technology used on the original discs. For Blu-ray discs, this technology is known as AACS and is aggressively defended by an organization that controls and licenses it to the disc makers. Thus, DVDFab products sold in the US no longer contain the ability to remove this technology from AACS-protected discs. That being said, DVDFab users in the US may be able to search for third-party tools such as AnyDVD HD (payware), Woookao (freeware), DVD43 (freeware) or MakeMKV (freeware) to restore the ability to copy or convert this material. If the law from your region/area does not allow such "Fair Use" of copyrighted materials, please do not use these products. If you think the law for your area should be changed, please contact your elected representative(s).
Sorry but, this is the work of the supposedly "FREE" country we live in.

Even if it's a little thing, do something for those who have need of help, something for which you get no pay but the privilege of doing it.
Hi drkbrn23
ImgBurn will not remove the encryption on the discs, it's only a burn engine.
You will need to find a program to remove the encryption. From the link DVDFab users in the US may be able to search for third-party tools such as AnyDVD HD (payware), Woookao (freeware), DVD43 (freeware) or MakeMKV (freeware) to restore the ability to copy or convert this material.

So is IMGBURN still supposed to work with this program???
Imgburn is not the problem. DVDFab is the issue. You need to back off to a version of DVDFab that has not been crippled for USA customers. Search and find an earlier version than 9150, or a non-USA 9150, or switch to a different tool to rip your purchased and legitimately owned blu-ray title..
Others have already explained general issues & possible solutions ....
FYI: I'm in US & just happened to pick 9140 on this title & it worked fine .. other pre-9150 vers may also work fine ... also note movie has forced English subtitles for russian dialog ... jak
