Internet is required to open this Blu-ray disc

I experienced this issue on 2 different Blu-ray discs using the auto-detect of Blu-ray drive. When it attempts to open the disc, it prompts below:

Internet is required to open this Blu-ray disc.

If you have firewall software installed, please configure it to allow DVDFab to access the internet.

I have firewall configured to allow DVDFab for Internet access, and even tried it with firewall turned off but still same error.

    Attached the log file.

is this the USA version of dvdfab??
it could also be that the discs aren't supported yet.

I don't think it's US version but how do I verify it?. I downloaded it from dvdfab.cn and it's working in the past until recent beta and then auto update to latest version. The disc isn't new either. It's "once a thief". But for those discs that do not have encryption, dvdfab was able to open it.

the usa version would say dvdfab9174US.exe non usa is dvdfab9174.exe
even though the disc isn't new it could have copy protection that isn't
supported by dvdfabs servers. the USA dvdfab will not open/decrypt bulray discs

Thanks... I confirmed that it's non-USA version. I understand that there is always some sort of disc protection that isn't supported yet (this is always a racing condition between protection and decryption). Anyway, the message about firewall and internet connection is very mis-leading if it's really an issue of unsupported protection.

It is firewall and internet connection error. You can tried again.

Finally I uninstalled dvdfab, restart pc and reinstalled dvdfab again fixed this issue. This seems to be an issue after I tried one of the beta version.

I have answered you in your own thread.
You do not need a disk to reinstall Fab, just uninstall Fab using Fabs uninstaller download the latest version and install it.

The fab version that you using is too older.
Please tried the latest fab version.
