Problems with ripping Pirates of the Caribbean 3

    Hi,

I just got the BD package.
After ripping one BD successfully (25 GB) I encountered problems with the Pirates of the Caribbean BD (50 GB).
I tried to backup this with complete disc or just the main movie for several times. I didn't chose any compression for the Backup.
The start of the Backup seemed fine but then it stopped at different percentages.

    Here's the actual log:

    22:14:12: Source( 00001.m2ts )
    22:14:19: No compression needed
    22:14:19: Kopiervorgang gestartet
    22:37:54: Aufgabe_1 fehlgeschlagen! Fehler=1000(504.00 0 filter(type1:id1), )

Try ignore reading errors and disabling read ahead cache in the settings. I usually rip a full disc (BD-50) first then use that as a source then rip that ,do the compression (main movie as a BD-25) unchecking remove HD audio. Resetting the DMA may help. BTW different movies sometimes require different settings. This blu-ray stuff is a mess!!!!!

      Hi,

      thanks for the help.
Unfortunately this didn't work either. I still have crashes while trying to rip it.
I was trying both, to rip the whole disc and just the main movie. I didn't do any compression.

The BD looks perfect. No scratches and fingerprints.

Still, as Johan suggests, try cleaning the disc, some times the naked eye can't see some thing that might be on the surface of the disc, so it won't hurt to give it a quick cleaning.

Well, the disc is clean. I tried this several times and cleaned it.

I can make a copy to a BD 25 and my ps3 reads the disc and want to go online (BD-live) and then nothing happens! I'm using xxxxxx and dvdfab 6.2.1.8
