I had similiar error.
Resolved after updating my video driver to the latest version.

Hi, I received the 1000 error code last night. Was backing up Terminator 2, the pc resources were maxed out to 98 to 100% doing task 1, I started to stream audio from the pc to my Tivo wirelessly, after a few moments the pc screen went off and on and Dvd Fab gave an 1000error message and ended the session.
I ran the session again and let the pc do it's job without stressing it anymore with streaming, it ran fine. Just passing on my experience with the 1000 error code.
